About Time

About Time is a collaborative project that delves into the complexities of time and its perception. The performance featured two individuals kneeling in front of a microphone, where they took turns reading a poetic text on the nature of time, drawing inspiration from The Tao of Physics. Above them, a book hung from a string, swinging like a pendulum as the two participants alternated in reading the text. This pendulum motion symbolized the passage of time, while the text explored both its physical and philosophical dimensions.

The installation also incorporated the individual research of each collaborator. Each participant explored their own questions around the concept of time, translating these inquiries into creative video works. These videos were projected across the room in layers, creating an immersive experience that continued whether or not the performance was active. The project as a whole combined visual, auditory, and philosophical elements to question and reflect on how we experience and understand time.
