Living Corals is a choreographed ritual performance and an intimate act of ecological care.
Through slow, meditative movements, colored liquid is gently fed into IV bags that drip into pale coral sculptures—symbolically nourishing and reviving them. As the liquid flows, the sculptures take on color, evoking the quiet transformation of bleached reefs returning to life.
Accompanied by a poetic narration and a soundscape inspired by the rhythms and sonics of the ocean, the work creates an immersive space where tenderness becomes a form of resistance. It is not a spectacle, but a love letter—an offering to what has been harmed and forgotten.
By merging art, ecology, and ritual, Living Corals reimagines restoration as an emotional and embodied practice. It asks: What if healing begins not with intervention, but with presence, care, and gentleness?
