Entangled Rhythms is an immersive installation and live performance exploring how movement connects us to ourselves and to others. Inspired by quantum physics metaphors like wave-particle duality and entanglement, the piece unfolds in three phases: live dance with delayed projections, a raw documentary on rave and ecstatic dance culture, and a return to energetic movement.
Three large translucent frames transformed the dancer’s image into layered echoes, creating a sense of multiplicity and reflection. Sound and strobe lighting amplified the shifts in energy, guiding the audience through states of intimacy, intensity, and release. The work makes visible the unseen rhythms of empathy, connection, and shared energy that ripple through collective and individual experience.
