Tartine is a flagship restaurant born from the renowned high-end bakery in Los Angeles, envisioned as a thoughtful expression of modern craft, good food, and warm experiences. The design captures the essence of Tartine—its transparency, balance, and commitment to excellence—through a space that feels honest, inviting, and beautifully crafted.
The project consists of two distinct areas that reflect Tartine’s culinary identity in unique ways. The main café/restaurant offers an open, fluid layout with a carefully balanced material palette that highlights Tartine’s approachability and high-quality cuisine, while a separate take-out area ensures a seamless experience for guests on the go without interrupting the flow of the restaurant.
A second-floor wine bar extends Tartine’s presence into the evening, offering an intimate atmosphere where guests can enjoy the menu alongside select wines created in collaboration with Coppola Winery, enhancing the brand’s nightlife experience while staying true to its ethos of craftsmanship and hospitality.
